How do chiropractors treat ear pain caused by incorrect drainage?

Chiropractors usually treat ear pain by restoring the physical balance and ensuring proper function of the spine. When ear pain is caused by lack of drainage, chiropractors use some therapy and manual techniques to treat ear pain. Here are some of them.

Spinal adjustments

Chiropractors apply gentle pressure to the neck and spine. For this, the spine releases pressure and the eustachian tube works properly which makes the drainage easier.

Muscle relaxation

To relax the muscles around the ear chiropractors use a special manipulation method which helps proper drainage.

Lymphatic drainage technique (LDT)

Chiropractors use LDT to drain the fluid which helps reduce inflammation of the ear.

Graston technique

Chiropractors use manual therapy like graston technique. It is an instrument used technique that helps drain the fluid. Chiropractors massage the ear with the instruments to soften the tissues and strengthen the muscles. This method improves blood circulation.

Myofascial release therapy

Myofascia is a connective tissue that layers with muscle. When the fascia of the ear becomes tight, it causes ear pain. Our chiropractors apply myofascial release therapy applying pressure to the fascia to release tension and relax the muscles. This technique improves tissue alignment and reduces the risk of future injuries.

Stretching

Chiropractors recommend stretching to maintain muscle flexibility. Stretching also relieves stiffness and improves the muscle of the ear. It is helpful for preventing injury.

Exercises

Workouts which impact on calf muscle aid in recovery and build strength in the ear. Exercises reduce risk of reinjury and promote muscle flexibility.

Real-Life Chiropractic Success: Ear Pain Relief Through Chiropractic Care

I am Samm Dwayne’s mother. He is 7 years old. Last week, Samm started to feel pain inside his ear and couldn’t sleep well. Suddenly, some  liquid drained out from the ear and he couldn’t hear easily. At first, I thought it was just from a cold but I took him to a nearby doctor. After a thorough exam, the doctor confirmed that it was a middle ear infection. Then he prescribed painkillers and antibiotics but the result was so slow and unsatisfactory.

One day, my friend Tisha informed me about chiropractic care. She added that chiropractic therapy can restore spinal balance and increase the function of the eustachian tube. Then I visited a chiropractor with Samm.

The chiropractor used their traditional method and techniques which help restore the physical balance and improve the nerve around the ear. These made the eustachian tube more active and reduced pain and inflammation of the ear.

After some sessions, the drainage of fluid became stopped and Samm could hear everything easily. He slept comfortably again.

From that experience, I understood that chiropractic care is a natural and safe alternative treatment system specially for children.

The End

Chiropractic care is a natural and holistic treatment process for ear pain due to not draining. Chiropractors use manual adjustments, some traditional techniques and suggested stretching and exercises which help restore body balance and increase the function of the eustachian tube draining the liquid. If you or your child are struggling with ear pain, don’t hesitate to consult an experienced chiropractor.
